2003 Commemorates the 50th anniversary of the end of the Korean War. Honouring the bravery and sacrifice of Australia’s servicemen and women, it makes a poignant personal reminder of the cost of war and the quest for peace. The coin is mounted in a tri-fold card giving a brief history of this conflict. The card features a picture of the Australian National Korean War Memorial.
The coins were issued with (B), (M) & (S) Counterstamps at the relevant ANDA Show during 1993 and (C) Counterstamp at the Public Gallery Press at the RAM. These coins were placed in a coin card.
